Getting Here

When arriving in the Fort Story area, the nearest major airport is the Norfolk International Airport which services both domestic and international flights. Another nearby airport is the Chesapeake Regional Airport which is located about five miles outside the city limits. Amtrak offers train service to the Newport News station. Taxi service is also available from the airport. If arriving by car, take I-95-S to I-295-E around Richmond to I 64-E. Take Exit 282 and follow Route 13 for four miles. Take the last exit and turn right onto Route 60 and travel another five miles. Fort Story is a left turn as the flashing red light. If soldiers are in need of temporary lodging, hotels and motels in the nearby communities are available as there is no temporary lodging available at Fort Story.
